About the network
Lakeland Businesswomen's Network is a networking group for women in business in south Cumbria.
Set up in January 2006, the group is run by the members for the members.
The annual subscription is only £25 and non members are welcome to attend any of our meetings for just £3. We have 57 paid-up members and well over 60 interested parties on our regular emailing list.
We meet monthly, on the third Thursday of every month, alternating between morning and evening speaker and networking meetings, in a variety of venues across the area to make sure the widest pool of members can come along. At every meeting members get a chance to air success stories, business problems, advertise events and network. We also hold subsidised training days on business topics such as presentational skills, marketing and finance.
So, whatever your line of business, please get in touch, and we hope to see you at our next meeting.

LBN Charity 2008 - North West Air Ambulance
A big thank you to all who supported our fund raising efforts for the North West Air Ambulance. We have raised approximately £5,000 to help keep it saving lifes. For those of you who have ever waited for an Air Amulance to arrive - there's never a more welcome sound in the world.
