Armstrong Ward is owned and managed by Andrew and Jacqueline Ward, who opened the store in Autumn 2005 to establish a unique shopping experience within Kendal and indeed the rest of the Lakes.

Our store is full of beautiful things for every aspect of the home and garden. With sofas and occasional chairs, made by the finest British craftsmen to your specific requirements. English oak tables and dressers, hand crafted in Yorkshire. Luxury bedding from Sibona and Lulu Guinness and of course Cath Kidston for that country chic look. We have one of the largest selections of Emma Bridgewater pottery in the Northwest. And a huge array of traditional children’s toys and newborn gifts.
