Cotton Baby was set up when owner, Nicola Latimer, moved from Brighton to Cumbria and discovered that the real nappies she was happily using on her children were not available locally. Determined to plug the gap in the market she founded Cotton Baby which has grown to become Cumbria’s leading independent real nappy retailer.

All the nappies sold contain no chemical gels, are highly absorbent and very easy to use. The waterproof outer covers are 100% breathable and very soft, with gently elasticated seams to help prevent leaks. They come in a wide variety of colours and prints to brighten up any day! Nappy fabrics range from: bamboo to cotton (incl. organic cotton) via microfibre.

You can choose from nappies that close with velcro or poppers (not a nappy pin in sight), and there’s no need to soak them either. Biodegradable liners placed on top of the nappy catch any soiling and are then flushed away. When you’re ready, simply pop the nappies in the machine and dry as you do normally. Simple!
