Virginia Branney has a well established employment relations consultancy specialising in mediation and other dispute resolution services; advising on pay and grading issues (especially equal pay); and implementing equalities at work. The consultancy also offers health checks on existing policies and handbooks; independently conducted investigations and final stage grievance and disciplinary hearings; advice on dealing with conflict at work; briefings and courses on a range of employment relations issues; and negotiation skills training (not only in the employment field) designed to meet clients’ specific requirements. The consultancy has expertise in working with staff, employee and union representatives and managers at all levels in UK organisations, in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors.
Virginia Branney is a highly experienced practitioner having been a senior national union negotiator in the public sector. She is an ACAS Independent Expert on Equal Pay; a member of the ACAS Panel of Arbitrators and the Employment Appeal Tribunal; and she is a CEDR accredited mediator.
