LBN (Lakeland Businesswomen’s Network) is a friendly and supportive women’s networking group with members in a wide range of professional fields. Our mission is to create a friendly environment where women can network and be supported by like-minded professionals. We have members from a wide range of areas, with experience in almost every industry – and all who are willing to share their stories.

When do we meet?

We meet every third Thursday of the month; either in the morning 10am to 12noon, or the evening between 7pm and 9pm alternatively. We also regularly hold joint events with other like-minded organisations to offer even greater networking opportunities.

Membership is £60 per year and benefits include:

Attend as a guest

Guests are welcome at LBN meetings, so please feel free to come along to a couple of events before committing to membership. The charge is currently £10 per session including refreshments. Each event has a different theme and we work hard to offer a broad range of experiences to suit different needs. Members are encouraged to talk about and promote their businesses, we hold  frequent skill-development sessions, and we regularly invite inspiring local businesswomen as guest speakers. Our also have 2 annual social events; our July Summer Social & our Christmas Party.

The LBN Committee is made up of eight volunteers who help run the networking group in their spare time.

We have a strong membership from a wide variety of areas in businesses. From the very big to the very small.
