More than 30 years so, Jeanette Brown embarked on her self-employed career when she became a partner in Carlisle and Penrith based firm Dodd & Co, Chartered Accountants.
Jeanette will share with you some of the lessons she’s learned along the way (the good, the bad and the ugly!) and in particular, how not to fall into the trap of believing everyone else’s clichés about working for yourself.
